CHAPAS Club 6th anniversary celebration, which took place in the auditorium of the APS-Associação Portuguesa de Seguradores headquarters and had as interveners José Arez Romão, former administrator of Lusitania Insurance, José Cardoso Pinto, business manager of Edigma and Vítor Alegria, president of the CHAPAS Club.
José Arez Romão used slides to present a historical review of insurance, addressing the first form of insurance and its evolution until today.
José Cardoso Pinto presented Edigma, a technological company located in Braga, which is specialised in the development of hardware, software and interactive systems based on multitouch and gesture recognition.
In this area, the presentation focused on the various models of touch screens, a technology of great interest for the future project of the Insurance Museum.
An interactive table was made available with installed software, of images of old policies and others, which became a point of interest for all those present.
Vítor Alegria mentioned the six years of activity, socialising and defence of the memories of the insurance business, focusing on the materialisation of the Portuguese Insurance Museum.
This was followed by a pleasant Porto de Honra, with the respective birthday cake, and congratulations were sung to CHAPAS Club.
