Since 1986, he has established himself as an insurance professional in non-life technical areas in the Insurance Companies "Royal Exchange Assurance", "La Equitativa", "Mundial-Confiança", "Multicare" and "Fidelidade". Graduated in Law, with a passion for the history of insurance, in 2009 he is co-author in the publication "CHAPAS – Heraldry of Insurers". Defender staunch in the defense, conservation and dissemination of material and immaterial memories of insurance in Portugal. Promoter of the dissemination of knowledge of the history of insurance across borders. In 2011 he is co-founder of the non-profit association CHAPAS-Clube História e Acervo Portuguese of The Insurance Activity, which he has presided over since the beginning. In 2018 he was appointed by the PORTUGUESE Insurance Association (APS) member of the installation committee of EPMS – Permanent Insurance Memory Exhibition, followed by the position of member of the monitoring committee of said exhibition site. Due to his dedication, acquired knowledge and resilient sense, he is recognized as a personality in the defense of the History of Insurance in Portugal.

In 1994 he joined the World Insurance Company-Trust, SA. He began his duties at the insurance company as a driver for the Chairman of the Board of Directors. In 1992 he joined the Collections Sector. He completed, however, the General Insurance Course. In 1998, as the first clerk, the Hospital of the World Insurance Company-Trust. He has performed functions in the area of supply at Hospital dos Lusíadas / Hospital Privados Portugal - CGD Group.
His passion for photography has led to awards in some of his works. Combined with its collection of cameras.
He participated in the book "CHAPAS"-Heraldry of the Insurers with all the photography and treatment of the same.

Entered the insurance business in 1981, for Bonança EP Insurance Company, after a period of restructuring of this industry in the context of mergers and nationalizations.
Started working in the IT department, followed by Life and Health branches, until the end of 2018, the last 13 years being as an employee of the Fidelidade Insurance Company.
Has participated for three mandates in the board of the Grupo Cultural e Desportivo Bonança and for one mandate in the board of the Clube Millennium bcp.

André was born in Belgium, was a chemical engineer by profession and lived much of his life in Germany, where he died on June 19, 2018.
Between 2004 and 2010, Andre Peetermans was president of the German Club, the Deutscher-Feuer-Versicherungs-Schilder-Verein. His great knowledge in the evaluation and classification of fire insurance plates at European level was recognised.
He visited Portugal for the first time, accompanied by his wife, in 2011, motivated to meet Portuguese collectors and the collections of insurance plates, as well as advise the direction of CHAPAS-Clube História e Acervo Portuguese da Actividade Seguradora, pro-bono, in pursuit of the objectives of CHAPAS Club.
Between 2011 and 2016 he made a point of visiting Portugal annually, as well as accompanying the president of CHAPAS Club at his Club's annual meetings in Germany, including receiving him at his residence.

Economist, retired manager, with an international career of 42 years in the insurance industry. Between 2003 and 2018, President & CEO of Liberty Seguros (Portugal).
Supporter of the mission and objectives of CHAPAS Club history and Portuguese collection of insurance activity, was a supporter and provided financial support for the project that could have been the first museum of insurance Portuguese.

Filomena Rosário joined the Insurance Company Bonança, E.P. in 1983 for the Directorate of Information Technology, area that she remained in performing various IT functions until she left for pre-retirement in 2018
She went through several mergers between banks and insurance companies, namely BPA Group, BCP Group, CGD Group and finally Fidelidade-Companhia de Seguros acquired by the financial group Fosun.

He was born in Lisbon in 1995. He graduated in Communication Sciences from the Autonomous University of Lisbon. His first professional experience was at Multicare- Seguros de Saúde, SA. He worked in this company of the Fidelidade Group, in the Corporate Business Department. From an early age he was interested in the activity of CHAPAS-Clube História e Acervo Portuguese of The Insurance Activity, of which h is a member.

Geographer, retired of the Insurance Industry since 2016, where for 44 years she worked in various technical sectors in the Insurers, being settled in the last 20 years in the Audit of Fidelidade Insurance Company.
Supporter in the creation of a dream, where the memories of insurance would have to prevail in time, always accompanied the various initiatives stages of the formation of the CHAPAS Club that today is already a reality, which I am immensely proud of.

He started insurance business in 1969, aged just 16, in Accidents at Work Claims, and later in General Services, with the category of bellboy, at the Comércio e Indústria Insurance Company.
When insurance was nationalised in 1978, Comércio e Indústria was one of the four insurance companies whose merger gave rise to the Bonança Insurance Company, and he then went from being an office clerk to chief of services.
Between 2000 and 2005 he held positions as area manager of the Império-Bonança Insurance Company, deputy director of Seguros & Pensões and area manager, as deputy director of Banca, in Servibanca.
In 2005 he returns to the insurance activity, integrating the insurance company FidelidadeMundial/ImpérioBonança, with the coordination of the Document Management Area, where he remained until his retirement in December 2010, after almost 42 years connected to the same entity.
He was invited to be a consultant at Crédito Agrícola Insurance, a position he held between 2011 and 2013, with the responsibility of preparing the Quality Certification of the Document Management Area, which occurred successfully. As a result, he was invited to prepare the entire restructuring of that area and its relationship with the remaining services and outsourcing.
Most important academic and professional education: attended the 1st year of Sociology of Work, General Management Course, Information Systems Planning Course, Process Reengineering in Organisations Course, First Line-Excellence in Service and Leadership and Team Management Course.

Worked in Insurance from 1967 to 2020, successively in “Comércio e Indústria”, “Bonança”, “Império Bonança” e “Fidelidade”, mostly in Marketing, Communication and Design.
Since 2020, he is part of Fidelidade’s Historical Patrimony Preservation team in after-work regimen.
As an inveterate bibliophile, he rambles between literature, art and history. Currently he is especially immersed in insurance historical research.
